I just watched The Godfather for the first time yesterday, and I was really disappointed. The movie overall wasn’t really that great. Don’t get me wrong, there are a few really good scenes, but the people that try to compare and contrast it to Goodfellas and say The Godfather is better are fucking morons. The plot was a little incoherent, and wasn’t even that interesting. The entire movie is just dudes getting killed, and then the movie just sort of ends.
I also got really high and watched 2001: A Space Odyssey, which was phenomenal. I’m seriously convinced it might be one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Everything about it was fucking great.
